TRICIA AFERDITA

Tricia Aferdita (RL Tricia Griffith) www.triciagriffith.com I have been drawing since I was five years old and spent my childhood coloring on the margins of my books. In school my notebooks were filled with more doodles than notes, and art class was my favorite class. I credit my High School Art & Theatre Teachers for giving me confidence and encouraging me to explore my creativity. I graduated in 1991 from Community College with an AAS in Advertising/Commercial Art, and promptly went into the Veterinary Field. I continued to create, however and over the last several years have amassed a large collection of Wildlife, Fantasy & Visionary Art, along with a growing pet portrait business.

Konrad Jansma / John Dance

Konrad Jansma is the SL name of John Dance who lives and works in the Northeast of England. His work is primarily inspired by the landscape of the North Umbrian National Park and the cityscapes of the Tyne Estuary. Konrad also has a special interest in interiors and still lives and finds the Dutch masters of the late 16th and early 17th century a particular source of inspiration. His main method of working is to take photos and make pencil and wash sketches. When back in the studio he works from these using oil pastel on prepared paper. Then he makes an acrylic underpainting and completes the process in oil. One of the leading ideas behind much of this work is the blurring of categories and the merging of natural and constructed, organic and mechanical.

Richard Hoddinott

Richard Hoddinott is an artist and photographer who was born and raised in Cheshire in the Northwest of England. After exhibiting his work widely, he moved back to his hometown of Chester where he began the keltic dreams project in 2004. This is a collection of landscape paintings inspired by British mythology; of dream like images that capture the mood of the many ancient places that are linked to its rich folklore.
